Field Trips

Enriching field trips help children grow into citizens of our world and open their minds to all the possibilities that God provides. For too many children, especially those with limited financial means, the world and their lives can seem small and limited. Field trips help show them the immensity of the world and its opportunities. The experience enables them to see problems, choices, and solutions in a larger context, making it easier to avoid gangs and navigate dangerous behaviors. These trips develop knowledge of art, history, civics, culture, spirituality, critical thinking, empathy, and tolerance.

In the past, we have visited places such as Boston Common, South Station, Boston Public Garden, the Peace Abbey, La Salette Shrine, and Boston Symphony Hall.
